Psychotherapy services are covered by most extended health care insurance plans. You will be given an official receipt at the end of each session which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

It is strongly recommended to check with your insurance provider prior to your first appointment to see if coverage for therapy services provided by a registered psychotherapist is included in your plan.

Please note that psychotherapy receipts that have not been reimbursed by health plans can be used to receive deductions on your taxes.
